Drosera Adelae 'Giant'
Drosera Adelae 'Giant'
What could be better than a large, lance-leaved sundew? An even larger version! This form of the classic Queensland sundew is an excellent beginner plant, able to grow and adapt to a wide variety of conditions and light levels! Under good growing conditions the leaves will reach up to 12 inches long! Provide this plant with lower light for wide, green leaves, or more intense light for narrower, more red leaves!
One of my favorite parts of growing D. Adelae is how easily it clones itself. If the roots are exposed to light, they quickly bud additional plantlets which grow so quickly the pot can fill itself in a matter of months! Mine is growing quickly and steadily in a ~50:50 mix of peat and perlite, in a tray of water that I top off whenever it reaches the base of the pot.
Every plant for sale is grown alongside my parent plants, so that you only get a plant as healthy and beautiful as I would keep for myself! Plants sold are sub-adult, about 3-5" across, and growing very fast!
