Drosera Adelae

The Lance-leafed sundew, from Queensland, is a beautiful and shapely plant that grows quickly and easily! With leaves reaching 6+ inches across and covered in sticky dewdrops, this is an eye-catcher and a conversation starter! In higher light, the leaves grow more narrow with a red coloration, and in lower light they grow wider and a rich green color.

One of my favorite parts of growing D. Adelae is how easily it clones itself. If the roots are exposed to light, they quickly bud additional plantlets which grow so quickly the pot can fill itself in a matter of months! Mine is growing quickly and steadily in a ~50:50 mix of peat and perlite, in a tray of water that I top off whenever it reaches the base of the pot.

Every plant for sale is grown alongside my parent plants, so that you only get a plant as healthy and beautiful as I would keep for myself! Plants sold are sub-adult, about 3-5" across, and growing very fast! As always, I'll pick the biggest plant first, so that you have a beautiful adult specimen as soon as possible!
